  • Absolutely. All couples are welcome here, and every ceremony is held with respect, warmth, and love.

  • I charge no extra fee, you can order an Apostille Request for your marriage license during the Marriage License application process. An Apostille Requests cost $29 each, plus a $15 processing fee, plus shipping.

    Select it from Optional Documents and Services. Indicate the country where it will be used and the quantity needed. Any additional certified copies of your license/certificate will be shipped with the apostille.

  • Because love shouldn’t be priced out of reach. Rootzee offers a fully legal, fully supported ceremony without the inflated cost. Our pricing is grounded in fairness, transparency, and the belief that beginning your marriage should never come with unnecessary financial pressure.

  • The marriage license fee is typically around $70 when applying online.

  • Starting your application will generate a unique URL. Use it to access your application from any device at any time.

    To complete the shared application, you will need:

    1. A valid email address for each applicant.

    2. A valid government-issued photo ID for each applicant.

    3. A smart phone to scan each applicant's ID and face.

    4. A credit/debit card to pay marriage license fees.

  • ROOTZEE hosts all virtual and remote marriage ceremonies from the State of Utah, using platforms such as Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp.

  • No. The couple and witnesses do not need to be in the same physical location. They can join from different homes, cities, or even states — all that matters is that everyone is present on the live video call at the same time.

    The only legal requirement is that your officiant, Rootzee, is physically in Utah during the ceremony to legally solemnize your marriage.

  • Witnesses must be 18 or older and able to state their full legal names. Rootzee will verify their ID before the ceremony begins. I can provide referrals to individuals who can act as witnesses.

  • The general rule is that all participants must be 18 or older.

  • You’ll receive your digital certified copy by email within a few hours of the ceremony. Paper certified copies are mailed within 2–3 business days for addresses in the continental United States. International delivery times vary and may take longer.

  • IYes. International couples can legally obtain a Utah marriage license. Utah law allows couples from any country to apply and be married through a ceremony performed from Utah, as supported by Utah Code § 81‑2‑407.
